I am thoroughly impressed with Sarah's ability to encapsulate a dog's character. While there are similiarities in colour and lifelike features, what stands out is Brody's character and love of balls. I know a number of dogs in her gallery- all paintings capture the uniqueness of each so well.

Sarah's painting of my wonderful Bob was the first of my dogs she painted for me. She has captured Bob's gentle nature perfectly- he was so calm and loving and that shines through in Sarah's painting. I don't know how it is possible to reflect his soft eyes in a painting, but that's what she's done.
